Put it in the toolbox

Often times, pastor are held in high regard because of their title. But don’t let the admiration or respect fool you, pastor’s are weak & struggle often.

To help both pastors & their flocks, H.B. Charles has penned some wisdom for pastoring along the way. The book features short chapters that address the specifics pastoring. Charles uses his own life lessons, anecdotes and illustrations to help pastors learn from him, because of what he learned from other pastors.

This book is simply a guide for discipline of being a disciple that pastors. The book is sectioned in 3 aspects: Heart, Leadership, and Ministry.

The subject matter that Charles addresses is provided in a conversation style of writing. You’ll feel like you’re sitting down with an old friend to discuss life and honestly that is a great approach to writing teachable lessons…which is what this book is comprised of.

Charles’ former book On Preaching led to this book’s publishing. I would refer both editions to pastor’s of any age or season in ministry.
