Covering the Recovery

People love statistics because statistics help remove faith from the equation. When it comes to the Church & Christianity as a whole, there are people who want to proclaim not the truth of the Living God but the statistics that faith is knocking on death’s door.

Sean Oliver-Dee has boiled down the statistics but he has also given a perspective on why faith won’t ever die.

The bottomline is that Jesus stated; “On this rock, I will build my church & the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Because of this statement & the action that Jesus took to go forth with His Church, there is nothing that anyone can do to stop it from living.

Will there be statistics that say & show how numbers are declining? Surely there will be. But perhaps that is because some people in the church never really were authentic to begin with & it’s only a matter of time before they bow out.

Here’s a thought: Statistics change. They fluctuate & the pendulum swings back & forth over time. But the promises of God are true & never-changing.

This book is helpful & gives the broad perspective on why faith will live through narrow statistics & times that change.
