Consider your ways

This series of books in Retraction is worth digging into. The series addresses the heart and mind of believers. Therefore, this series is practical but also spiritual in nature.

This book in particular takes a hot-fire topic dead-on with truth and grace. This is a worthwhile read that will step on your toes and at times, not let off. It is evident that believers and the church in general is garnering a reputation of judgmentalism and bigotry. It seems that at times, believers are more eaten-up with winning a debate, argument, or point-of-view, then they are concerned with being winsome, gracious and respectful.

This book calls us to be salt, light and to give a defense of what we believe with gentleness, respect and humility. Believe it or not, it is very possible to be all of the above and still disagree with someone!

You may be thinking, that’s not me. I’m not like that. This book is for someone else. Not so fast, my friend! Consider your ways and consider letting this book read your heart and mind.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
