In our weakness, He is strong. This is the case for Christianity when It faces forceful persecution and that is exactly what is happening in Iran. In fact, while it seems that gospel impact is weakening in the nations who are flourishing financially and corporately, the gospel is growing in places of persecution and government opposition.

Because of the opposition, the Christians only have Christ and nothing else. Because of this reality, they are experiencing the peace, presence and power of the Holy Spirit. When Christ is all they have, Christ is all they truly need. This is hard to realize in Western Civilization where people live comfortable lives which causes them to be calloused spiritually and to live careless lives focused on the temporary.

This book will be an encouragement for those who wonder about the realities of persecution and the cost of following Christ.
