Honestly, it isn’t a matter of if, but rather, when.
“Lord, I believe. Please help my unbelief.”
When it comes to salvation and God’s love, there are seasons of doubt in the lives of believers. We often forget that the enemy who deceived Adam & Eve in the garden is still up to his old tricks.
I often tell believers (both new & seasoned) that when you struggle with doubt, forsake the thoughts & attempts to go back to what you did. (i.e. walk the aisle or pray a prayer) Rather, the affirming thing to do is to return to the cross, where Jesus did the work for you and shows you His great love.
In this brief, but clear & strong book, John Stevens addresses the seasons of doubt and reasons why…because they are valid reasons and most people go through them. He then tackles how to overcome and grow in your confidence that you are a Christian.
Stevens explains the above very articulately, but also simply, so that after reading his book, you’re not even more confused. Within this book, you’ll be both reminded and affirmed of your faith in Christ and His love for you.
This resource will help people of all ages in the faith and ought to be in the hands of both new and seasoned believers.
