Randy Alcorn’s book, If God is good…addresses the questions of evil & suffering in the world. His book doesn’t raise the question, because life raises that question on it’s own. He simply addresses it in a rather lengthy text that is needed for ministers and anyone who wants to tackle such a loaded and foggy question.

As I stated above, the book is lengthy. This is not a Sunday afternoon read, but rather something that you might ought to make a goal to read over the course of time.

Randy Alcorn suffered his own tragedies and heartaches in ministry and life, so he writes from the perspective of a well-worn traveler. This books mirrors his other book Heaven on the fact that there are so many wonderings and ideas about life and eternal life.

If you’re ready to tackle a subject that is worth tackling, do check out this book, but a slow pace. This will prepare you for ministry and what may lie ahead in your own life.

I received this book for free from the publisher’s Blogging for Books program in exchange for this review.
