Good, worthwhile study

John Harvey understands the richness and treasure that is the general letters of the N.T. Therefore, his desire is to point others to the richness and treasure so that they can find the same joy that he has.

This companion study tool is full of resources to help readers grasp the historical context applied to modern context. This resource leaves readers without excuse of not understanding the text. Harvey has covered all corners of the exegetical process, nearly to a fault, with this tool. It is possible that you may discover unneeded guides, once you grasp the process of exegesis, but none the less, they are there for the reader’s benefit.

First things first though, Harvey will help the reader prepare for the process of exegesis very clearly. He then follows with the act of interpreting the letters, and cleans it all up with, communicating the general letters. This resource is a valuable homerun in the hands of sunday school teachers, seminary students and seasoned ministers. Don’t let the big theological words fool you or intimidate you. John Harvey wants these words to become friends with your mind and he helps readers of all levels come to the fountain of exegetical work.
