Open up to Hope

As the author of Plan B, Pete Wilson writes another simple but weighty book. Pete has a way with words and you’ll find yourself picking up on his phrases, statements and thoughts rather easily, while you read. I suggest a highlighter or two, because you’re going to use them.

This book is for EVERYONE. All people hurt at some point in their lives and it’s what we do with that hurt that makes us who we are and how we influence others. If we remain hurt, we will hurt others. If we move on from hurt, we will extend grace to hurting people. It’s really simple but becomes complex because we want to avoid the pain, sweep it under the rug and act like nothing ever happened.

Have you peeled back a rug or piece of carpet only to find what was lurking underneath was truly frightening and damaging? This is what happens to our soul & mind when we ignore the hurt in our lives. We allow the disease(s) of bitterness, rage, anger, confusion, and hopelessness to run rampant.

You’ll find that the author had you in mind when you read this text.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I received this book free from the publisher through the book review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
