Grace for the doubters
The WIlder family was decieved by their good works for their own glory and for the fame of the local LDS church.
However, God clearly pursued them by His grace and their documentation of that pursuit is powerful. This family was neck deep in the Mormon faith and completely devoted for the work of the LDS church. But God was actively pursuing this family & opening their eyes to the truth of the Christian faith & the error of the LDS faith.
This book is eye-opening and a clear testimony of how God loves people and finds them wherever they are. The documentation by the Wilder’s of the scriptures, the book of Mormon, and the circumstances that God used to soften their hearts and open their eyes is testimony to the grace of Jesus Christ. You’ll find that their testimony prior to Christianity was the opposite of John 3:30…it was simply a testimony that uplifted everyone but Jesus Christ.
I would recommend this book for those who want to see God at work despite blatant circumstances that oppose the Word of God. This is a powerful story of God’s saving grace and the truth of the Gospel.
