90 Days Thru

One of the great tools to develop the daily habit of feasting on God’s Word is a devotional. Editor, Chris Tiegreen has helped produce a devotional that walks a reader thru the bible in 90 days. However, the editor does note that this devotional does not cover the entire bible (every story, every character, every circumstance). But it does walk thru each book of the bible with details and inspiring challenges for the reader.

This reviewer would venture to say that a devotional of this sort would be a great propeller for someone to begin reading thru the entire bible in daily sittings.

Prior to starting each Testament (old/new), the editor explains the parameters for each Testament and why there are 2 Testaments. Obviously, this devotional takes exactly 3 months to digest and the reader should definitely find themselves with a greater appreciation for scripture along with a stronger appetite for the entire counsel of scripture and the story of God’s redeeming love from Genesis – Revelation.

Note: I received a copy of this book from the Tyndale House Bloggers Review Program in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive view.
