What about your favorite sin(s)?
In this text, author, Todd Hunter addresses multiple sins that are a daily strain in the lives of believers. The following are addessed…
As you can tell, this text may not address a specific sin that you may struggle with, but it does address general sins that are specific in the lives of people. The author leans heavily toward the practice of spiritual disciplines that help the believer discipline their own heart. Rather than following your heart, Hunter implores the reader to take control over your heart through disciplines that emphasize the study, meditation, focus, and feasting on the Word of God.
When a person is tempted to submit to sin(s), temptation becomes easier to deal with as you more grounded in Christ and His word. The author uses scripture to support his stance throughout the text. This is a strong book for finding identity in Christ as well as stabilization in times of temptation.
