Chasing the Lion

In this text, author Mark Batterson encourages readers to survive & thrive in opportunities that might seem fearful.

The story comes from an often overlooked, little know passage in the OT (2 Samuel), in which Benaiah is face to face with a lion & strikes it for the glory of God. The overall premise of the book is not directly chasing the lion or killing the lion, therefore blazing past life opportunities. The real idea is to simply face the lion & we all have a lion(s) to face.

Although this is a short read, it is challenging, encouraging and definitely equipping for the reader who seeks to overcome fears with the help of God’s great power.

I recommend this book, which can be read in one-two sittings.

I received this book for the purpose of review from Multnomah Publishers.
